✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Active California Vocational Nurse (LVN) license with Intravenous Therapy and Blood Withdrawal certification.
Certifications
✓Current BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
✓Experience performing clinical skills within scope of practice, including phlebotomy, injections, and CPR.
Qualifications
✓Ability to obtain and document vital signs, administer medications, and process prescription refill requests.
✓Knowledge of common and life-threatening medical conditions and the ability to recognize and respond appropriately to symptoms.
✓Ability to identify abnormal laboratory results and promptly communicate findings to providers.
✓Knowledge of infection control practices and safe handling of biohazardous specimens and contaminated instruments.
✓Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with providers, staff, patients, and other healthcare professionals.
✓Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, computer navigation, and electronic health record systems.
✓Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly, professionally, and compassionately in person and by phone.
