✓Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification: Required

✓American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA), American Medical Certification Association (CMAC), American Medical Technologist (RMA), California Certifying Board of Medical Assistant (CCMA), Multiskilled Medical Certification Institute (National Certifying Board of Medical Assistants or NCMA) pa
✓Maintains and meets expectations on time for all competencies, license, certifications and education requirements as outlined by local administration, Adventist Health (AH), The Joint Commission (TJC), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and all other regulatory agencies.
✓Must obtain National Medical Assistant Certificate within 6 months of accepting position and must maintain certificate and complete all required CEUs.
Phlebotomy certification preferred.
Education
High School graduate or GED preferred.

About the role

In accordance with the Medical Board of California, works under general supervision of the clinic physicians supported by the clinic nursing supervisor, clinic manager, clinic mid-levels and RN, in a controlled outpatient care area and performs a variety of duties. This position is represented by RCHEA.
