Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required Work Experience 2 years in general security, military, or other public safety experience where to actively carry a firearm in the regular course of duty Required or an equivalence of training and job experience to support effective demonstration of responsible handling of weapons and use of force Required Licenses and Certifications DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Valid Driver’s license & adhere to Piedmont's Healthcare Vehicle Safety Program policy 3500 Upon Hire Required and IAHSS - Certification As A Security Officer within 1 Year Required and Must pass pre-employment psychological screening Upon Hire Required and Must pass and maintain all training requirements to maintain employment to include certifications in Firearms, Taser, ASP Baton, Mental Health First Aid, and others as directed Upon Hire Required Georgia Peace Officer Standards & Training (P.
