Certifications
Completion of Central Service Technician course preferred.
Education
✓High school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
✓seeing, hearing, and speaking.
✓Frequent: standing, sitting, walking, stooping/bending, kneeling, finger dexterity; lifting, pushing/pulling and carrying usual weight of 10 pounds; reaching at and below shoulder level, repetitive arm/hand motions; static gripping of an object for prolonged periods, frequent gripping of an object.
✓Occasional: climbing stairs, walking on uneven ground, squatting, twisting body, lifting, pushing/pulling and carrying weight up to 40 pounds; reaching above shoulder level.
✓Operates pneumatic tube system, computer, copier, printer, patient care equipment, telephone, supply/exchange carts, and typewriter.
✓One (1) year recent central distribution experience to demonstrate familiarity with medical supplies/equipment.
✓Prior customer service experience.
✓Experience to demonstrate ability to operate automated inventory systems.
