- The Senior Team Lead, Academic & Clinical Education, provides senior leadership and oversight for all academic and clinical education strategies across DHR Health. This role ensures that academic programs, curricula, and clinical education initiatives meet all institutional, state, and national standards while supporting the organization’s long-term workforce and education objectives. The position serves as a key partner to the Executive Team Lead, Workforce Development & Clinical Education, and the Grant Management Team, aligning academic design, instructional methodologies, and compliance efforts with workforce implementation and organizational goals. The Senior Team Lead plays a pivotal role in curriculum development, academic partnership management, and continuous quality improvement, fostering excellence in clinical education, professional readiness, and scholarly collaboration. POSITION EDUCATION/ QUALIFICATIONS :
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Master of Science degree in nursing MSN is required.
- Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure in the state of Texas required.
- Minimum of 3 years clinical nursing experience required; hospital experience preferred.
- One year of formal teaching experience or nursing professional development preferred.
- Organizational skills are necessary
- Good written and verbal communication skills required

Must be flexible with work schedule since clinical student assigned to strategist may work weekends and/or nights. Thorough knowledge and understanding of clinical protocols, procedures, and standards within area of clinical expertise. This position requires a sound knowledge of nursing practice, display of exceptional leadership abilities and promotion of hospitality principles in every day practice.
- Ability to provide operational guidance and leadership to clinical students.

- Provide senior leadership in academic and clinical education strategy, ensuring programs meet all institutional, state, and national requirements.
- Lead the design, development, and continuous evaluation of curricula for clinical apprenticeships, nurse technician programs, and other clinical education initiatives.
- Work in close collaboration with the Executive Team Lead, Workforce Development & Clinical Education to ensure all academic frameworks are effectively implemented within clinical operations and workforce pipelines.
- Develop and oversee the implementation of evidence-based instructional frameworks, simulation programs, and learning methodologies that support clinical competency and educational excellence.
- Collaborate with universities, allied health schools, and accrediting agencies to align academic content and educational outcomes with clinical practice standards.
- Establish and maintain policies governing academic and clinical education programs, ensuring compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements.
- Lead all preparation and readiness efforts for accreditation reviews, program audits, and site visits, maintaining full compliance across all educational initiatives.
- Partner with clinical educators, preceptors, and faculty to integrate academic rigor and best-practice teaching methodologies into all learning experiences.
- Work closely with the Grant Management Team to ensure coordination and reporting accuracy for all grant-supported academic and educational deliverables.
- Establish and track key academic metrics, including curriculum quality, learning outcomes, competency achievement, and student satisfaction.
- Support professional development for instructors and faculty through mentorship, evaluation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Use data analytics to evaluate educational effectiveness and inform continuous quality improvements in program design and delivery.
- Serve as the organizational liaison for academic innovation, research integration, and scholarly collaboration with external institutions.
- Develop and strengthen academic partnerships to expand learning pathways, enhance clinical readiness, and promote long-term workforce sustainability.
- Represent DHR Health in regional, state, and national education forums to advance best practices in clinical education and training.
- Foster a culture of educational excellence, scholarship, and professional growth throughout all academic and clinical education programs.
- Work closely with the Executive Team Lead, Workforce Development and Clinical Education, and the Grant Management Team to ensure alignment between academic program design, workforce implementation and, grant supported initiatives. Working Conditions : The individual spends over 95% of his/her time in an air-conditioned environment with varying exposures to noise. There is protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. The position does have low exposure to malodorous, infectious body fluids from patients and some minimal exposure to noxious smells from cleansing agents.
