A Financial Accountant Staff is part of the Shared Service organization which partners with the business units of the Health System and oversees the management and reporting of financial data. This role prepares, examines and analyzes the company’s accounts, financial records and other financial obligations. Compiles financial statements, reviews data and ensures financial compliance.

The Financial Accountant Staff is responsible for executing a variety of financial procedures, including month-end and year-end closings, accounts payable and receivable, tax returns, bank reconciliations and general ledger reviews. Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire: N/A Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment: N/A Experience REQUIRED: Minimum of two (2) years of work experience in the accounting field Previous experience with various software applications to include and automated accounting systems, general ledger, spreadsheets, databases, word processing, etc.
