*Any inquiries, please apply and the hiring manager will follow up to further discuss primary shift and various Tier options available.* The Float/Per-Diem Nurse will work under the supervision of the Manager to deliver direct patient care following the Emergency Nurses Association standards of practice, and code of ethics within a Patient and Family Centered Care Model. The Float/Per-Diem Nurse will be responsible for working the assigned shifts based on a Tier Approach agreed upon within this

. If needed, the float/Per-Diem nurse may be assigned to work in one of the following departments: Holzer Medical Center ED, Holzer Medical Center-Jackson ED, Holzer Meigs ED. Education, Work Experience and

  • Graduate of an approved Nursing Education program.
  • Minimum 2-year nursing experience within an Emergency Department setting preferred.
  • Current RN license in the State of Ohio

  • PALS required.

  • NRP recommended. TIER I
  • Tier 1: Minimum 24 hours every week. Shift and weekend differential will be included.

  • Tier 2: Minimum of 36 hours every week. Shift and weekend differential will be included.

  • Tier 3: Minimum of 36 hours every weekend (Friday- Sunday). Shift and weekend differential will be included.
  • Tier 3 will work holidays that fall on weekends.
