DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTION The Staff Nurse-Satellite Practice is a licensed staff nurse responsible for providing primary care to patients, including assessment, treatment, care planning, and medical care evaluation. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)
Minimum of one year of expereince in Primary Care is strongly preferred. Education and Training: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Has a thorough knowledge of nursing principles and procedures.
License, Certification & Registration: RN License – Currently licensed as an RN in Massachusetts Other
Demonstrates continuing education in accordance with state regulations. Assures compliance with scope of practice.
