Staff Physician, Breast Imaging Radiologist (Community Division) - Diagnostic and Interventional Imaging, McGovern Medical School

The Department of Diagnostic & Interventional Imaging is seeking a trained Breast Imaging Radiologist to join our growing radiology department across the Greater Houston area. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive breast imaging services. Position Key Accountabilities: Interpret a broad range of breast imaging examinations, including screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI.

Perform image-guided breast procedures, including ultrasound-guided, stereotactic, and MRI-guided biopsies and localizations. Participate in breast imaging consultations and communicate findings and recommendations effectively with referring physicians and patients as appropriate. Participate in multidisciplinary conferences, including breast tumor board and other breast-related clinical conferences.

Collaborate with breast surgeons, medical and radiation oncologists, pathologists, and other members of the multidisciplinary breast care team.

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency. Fellowship training in Diagnostic Radiology/Breast Radiology.

Board certification or board eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology. Texas Medical License or Faculty Temporary License. Strong diagnostic interpretation and clinical communication skills.
