Staffing Coordinator - Nursing Administration

The Staffing Coordinator provides staffing and scheduling support for assigned departments. In collaboration with the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and Department Leadership, supports the creation and revision of department schedules by matching the needs of the individual departments to the number of personnel available. Will meet schedule posting deadlines according to Hospital policy or Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).

Schedules staff in the most productive and cost-effective manner, utilizing all the staffing strategies determined by the organization. Evaluates and revises as needed the daily staffing of departments including replacement of personnel due to paid time off, sick leave, leave of absence, and/or other unexpected circumstances.
