Education
✓High School Diploma or GED.
Associate's degree in a healthcare-related field. preferred
Qualifications
✓Minimum of three years of Sterile Processing experience.
✓Demonstrated competency with specialty surgical instrumentation.
✓Experience with instrument tracking software.
✓Knowledge of sterilization principles, microbiology, and infection prevention practices.
✓Knowledge of instrument names, functions, and specialty sets.
✓Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
✓Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
✓Basic computer proficiency for documentation and recordkeeping.
Leadership or Lead Technician experience. preferred
Experience supporting multiple surgical specialties. preferred
Advanced knowledge of assigned service line instrumentation. preferred
Thorough understanding of sterilization principles and infection prevention. preferred
Knowledge of AAMI ST79 standards, manufacturer IFUs, and hospital policies. preferred
