Current Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS) certification preferred
Education
✓High School Diploma or Equivalent
Bachelor’s Degree in science or related field preferred
Graduate of accredited Surgical Technology program preferred
Qualifications
✓Two (2) years management of supervisory experience
✓Strong leadership skills including understanding departmental operations, orienting and training employees, job performance coaching, and monitoring products and services for continuous improvement
✓Demonstrate sound judgment, patience, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times
✓Exercise tact, discretion, sensitivity, and maintains confidentiality
✓Learn current and new computer applications and office equipment utilized at Bozeman Health
✓Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
✓Analyze, organize, and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines
✓Demonstrate the Bozeman Health SPIRIT values of: Service, People, Integrity, Respect, Improvement, and Teamwork.

About the role

The Sterile Processing Supervisor is responsible for assisting with planning, directing, organizing, monitoring and staffing departmental services subject to policies, budgets, objectives and directives mandated by regulatory agencies, DNV and the hospital administrative team. Supervises and coordinates all resources and services of the Sterile Processing Department.
