The Sterile Processing Technician I inspects, cleans, assembles, and sterilizes surgical instrument sets. This role operates cleaning and sterilization equipment and prepares instruments, supplies, and equipment for steam and low-temperature sterilization.
High school diploma or GED equivalent Minimum of one year of instrument-processing experience Active certification through the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) or the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA), formerly IAHCSMM Salary Range: Minimum 24.82/hour - Maximum 28.68/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
