The Sterile Processing Technician II is a certified technician whose areas of responsibilities covers decontaminating, assembling, sterilizing, storing, and distributing surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment according to established standards/guidelines. The SP Tech II demonstrates personal and professional effectiveness when working in an in-direct patient care department and addressing the request of the customer or provider.
High School Diploma or GED (AND) Central Service Technology Course/Or Equivalent Work Experience (at least one year experience in central sterile processing) License &
Hold one of the following certifications or obtain within one year of hire: CRCST, CSPDT, or CBSPD Work
One (1) year of Central Sterile Processing experience required. Communication
