You’ll need
Certifications
✓Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) Certification as a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) within 18 months of hire.
✓New Union Hires will have 18 months to achieve CRCST certification.
✓Mayo Clinic will reimburse testing fees.
✓Mayo Clinic will provide you with on the job training and after completing 400 hours of hands on experience you will be eligible to take the CRCST certification exam.
✓Payrate will increase after becoming certified.
✓Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
✓This position is not eligible for F-1 OPT STEM extension.
Education
✓HSD/ GED required.
Qualifications
✓Must be 18 years of age prior to start date.
✓Demonstrated leadership skills required.
✓Complete understanding and demonstrated proficiency of all area work tasks.
✓Highly developed oral and written communication skills and interpersonal relation skills.
✓Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
✓Occasionally lifting 25 pounds and push/pull greater than 50 pounds.
✓Individuals hired to this position may be required to complete up to 2 years in this position before becoming eligible to transfer to other positions within Mayo Clinic.
Current SPT experience preferred.
Proficiency in word processing, spread sheet, and computer data entry skills is desired. preferred
