Evening | Full-time How you’ll make an impact in this role Inspect, assemble and evaluate surgical instruments and instrument sets to ensure proper sterilization, completeness of set, and determine need for repair/replacement. Perform decontamination of soiled instruments, sterilization containers and equipment according to established protocols. Inspect instruments, equipment and containers to ensure cleanliness and proper functioning.
Maintain proper levels of inventory to ensure availability for case carts. Assist with staff training on sterile principals and the decontamination processes. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: One or more of the following: Central Service Tech specializing in Sterile Processing credentialed from the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management (IAHCSMM) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
