✓Requirements
Certifications
✓A minimum of one year of instrumentation experience OR successful completion of a vocational program for Central Service with full (not provisional) Central Service Technician certification.
✓Central Service Technician certification is required within one year of hire.
Education
✓High school diploma or GED required.
Successful completion of a vocational program for Central Service is preferred.
Qualifications
✓Basic computer knowledge.
✓Good interpersonal skills.
✓Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and the ability to receive and give constructive feedback.
✓Good verbal and written communication skills, being concise by phone and in person.
✓Additional experience and/or qualifications may be evaluated for Sterile Processing Technician II consideration based on demonstrated advanced skill competency and complex job knowledge.
One year of instrumentation experience in a hospital setting preferred.
