Responsible for decontamination, cleaning, processing and sterilizing of re-usable instruments and trays use hospital-wide. Pulls instruments and supplies for OR case carts. Demonstrates a clear understanding of decontamination procedures and risk of cross contamination, aseptic technique, sterilization methods and sterility assurance.

Within 1 year of hire: National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association Or Within 1 year of hire: National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution 1 year of SPD or surgical scrub tech experience. Experience in related field.
