Education
✓Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
Master's degree or MBA preferred. 8+ years of experience in project, program, or portfolio management, strategy, or a related field in the healthcare industry.
Qualifications
✓Experience with NCQA, URAC, or other health plan accreditation standards, State and Federal laws, regulations, policies, and practices for the administration of Medicare Advantage, Prescription Drug Plan, and managed care organizations.
✓At least 5 years of experience managing product strategy.
✓Experience with product marketing, underwriting or actuarial analysis can be a substitute for well-qualified candidates.
✓At least 3 years of experience with special needs plan (I/C/D), CMS bid process, commercial health plan offerings, and/or a Medicaid managed care program that includes dual-eligibles.
✓Demonstrated ability to gather, motivate, and lead interdisciplinary team of stakeholders across the organization to meet product-related deliverables and regulatory documentation.
✓Supervisory experience and/or working with external healthcare providers and health systems, managing large budgets, project management, and demonstrated negotiation skills.
✓Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
✓Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to analyze healthcare data.
✓Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
✓Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time, depending on project requirements and company needs.
