The Student helps the hiring department with various duties. Performs other duties as needed. This student role supports peers by providing tutoring in writing and selected subject areas (algebra, anatomy and physiology, and statistics) while also offering holistic academic coaching.
Tutors work with students to improve their mastery of course content, strengthen writing and communication skills, and develop effective study strategies. High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum one year of experience preferred. Must be a Loma Linda University Student.
Completion of at least one quarter/semester of coursework with a minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred. Strong performance in subject areas to be tutored. Knowledge and
