The student nurse trainee will be assigned to a designated unit and partnered with a patient care assistant until training completion. Students must commit to a two-week orientation period.
Student nurse trainee will be expected to work 12 hours per quarter in order ensure they are up to date with organizational procedures and processes to continue in the program. Our student nurse trainee program is a wonderful way for a student in an ASN or BSN program, who has completed their first clinicals, to gain experience in a clinical setting. DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION : With 31 beds, the critical care unit serves neurology and neurosurgery patients receiving treatment for strokes, brain tumors, head traumas, seizures, neuro-oncology, advanced neurological monitoring and other neuromuscular disorders.
