✓A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a states Department of Education or a recognized accrediting organization and one year of full-time satisfactory experience in the field of law enforcement, protection or security
✓An Individualized Education Program (IEP) diploma and eighteen months of full-time satisfactory experience as described in 1 above.
Qualifications
✓In addition to meeting the requirements for Assignment Level I, appointment to Assignment Level II requires:
✓Four years of satisfactory experience as a Special Officer, at least two years of which must have been as a Supervising Special Officer, Level I
✓Four years of full-time satisfactory experience in the field of law enforcement, protection or security, at least two years of which must have been in a supervisory capacity.
