Certifications
✓Certification in specialty area (RHIT, RHIA, ODS, CMP from ASCP) required
✓Minimum (5) years experience in managing large regulatory/quality data sets (ex: CMS/TJC core measures, cancer registry, cardiac registries, etc.) from collection through reporting and participation in process improvement
Education
✓Bachelor’s degree required
Qualifications
✓Minimum five (5) years experience in healthcare information management or healthcare quality data abstraction
✓Previous experience and demonstrated skills in a supervisory or lead capacity
✓Consideration may be given to internal candidates not meeting the minimum qualifications
