You’ll need
Licensure
✓Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire required
Certifications
✓BCLS – prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
✓ACLS – within 90 days required
Education
✓Associate Degree in Nursing required
✓demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
BSN preferred
Qualifications
✓Expiration date greater than 3 months preferred
✓CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training – within 90 days of hire
✓2-years’ experience as a registered nurse with previous experience as a charge nurse or similar leadership role (i.e. Charge nurse, committee chair, preceptor) required
✓In addition to the required qualifications, a successful RN will
✓maintain a positive, customer-focused attitude toward patients
✓possess a strong work ethic and always display a high level of professionalism
✓have basic computer skills using medical management application systems
Current Cardiac Telemetry experience strongly preferred

About the role
Our Unit provides intermediate /telemetry level of care for CABG, MVR, TAVR, heart-failure, post-operative interventional cardiac care (Stents, Angioplasty, Cardiac Catheter) patients.
