Maintains accountability for daily operations and delivery of patient care through supervising, leading and mentoring staff. Oversees material resources to meet customer needs and fiscal responsibilities. Coordinates equipment, supply purchasing and the use of information technology systems to support the care delivery process.
Principle Responsibilities Supervises daily operations of service delivery. Coordinates daily patient flow. Evaluates daily staffing needs and coordinates changes when necessary.
Assists with annual budgeting including personnel, expenses, and capital equipment. Identifies opportunities for improving services and coordinates follow-up. Assists equipment quality assurance within the laboratory.
Assists in development and monitoring of quality improvement initiatives. Manages employees and holds them accountable for role responsibilities, competencies, individual performance and goals. Supports the recruitment, interviewing, hiring and onboarding process.
Conducts ongoing coaching, assessment, training and education of staff. Completes and conducts employee performance reviews. Responsible for engagement of employees and contributing to annual department-wide engagement plan.
Coordinates daily staffing and scheduling. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Vocational or Technical Training in cardiovascular technology or physical science or 5 years of experience in a cardiovascular lab 3+ years cardiovascular lab, imaging or clinical experience 2+ years supervisory or management experience
- Bachelor's degree Licenses/Certifications Must meet at least ONE of the requirements below
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross
- Allina in-house BLS training (within 30 days of hire) Physical Demands Medium Work*: Lifting weight up to 32 lbs. occasionally (*Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), up to 25 lbs. frequently
$46.42 to $64.22 per hour The pay described reflects the base hiring
. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
