✓Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) AHIMA certification OR Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC) AAPC certification
✓Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC) AAPC certification
Stated certifications preferred
Education
✓Associate’s and 8 years of experience as an Inpatient Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist (CDIS) OR Bachelor’s and 6 years experience as an Inpatient Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist (CDIS).
Qualifications
Previous supervisor/manager experience. preferred
