✓Licensed by the appropriate Georgia State Board.
Certifications
✓ASHA, CCC for SLP required or if an Audiologist must meet the education and experience requirements for a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Audiology granted by the ASHA by either currently holding or previously holding certification.
✓Must be certified in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for all age groups.
Education
✓Master's degree or higher from an accredited school in Speech/Language Pathology or Audiology.
Qualifications
✓Three (3) years’ experience in licensed discipline, with at least one (1) year experience in a hospital environment.
✓Ability to work independently and communicate tactfully.
✓Must demonstrate ability to effectively coordinate and direct activities, procedures and personnel.
✓Knowledgeable in rehab regulations, billing, and reimbursement, and CMS guidelines (example, G-Codes).
Previous supervisory experience. preferred
