Certifications
Experience in healthcare billing, follow-up, and certification is preferred.
Education
✓High School Diploma or equivalent
Qualifications
✓Background in patient access and health insurance is required.
✓Must also demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possess the ability to respond to age specific issues and data reflective of the patient’s status.
✓Employee must be knowledgeable regarding current government and state regulations (including Medicare, Medicaid, and Tricare regulations) and able to modify procedures accordingly in order to maintain compliance.
✓Employee must also be knowledgeable of the differing applications of these regulations in each facility
✓development, ability in interpersonal communications and sensitivity to teammate needs.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are essential. 1-3 years of supervisory experience is preferred.
