Associate’s degree , preferably in medical technology and/or MLT (ASCP) preferred
Qualifications
✓Equivalent experience that must include the following: 10 years of phlebotomy experience in a hospital setting, with at least five years in a team leader/supervisory role
✓Minimum two years operational supervisory experience in a hospital clinical laboratory setting.
✓Minimum two years computer experience.
✓Knowledge of medical terminology and testing requirements.
✓Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with staff and customers.
✓Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
✓Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
✓Ability to train staff effectively and document these activities consistently
✓Knowledge of regulatory requirements for CAP, Medicare (medical necessity), state, and other accreditation agencies
