Provides management and leadership in the department. Oversees departmental operations and coordinates clinical activities. Participates in the recruitment and hiring of staff, as well as schedules, supervises, trains, develops and disciplines staff.
Assists in development of protocols and performance improvement activities to assess process and outcomes. Performs patient care as necessary.
