Oversees warehouse and other assigned areas of supply chain operations, including day-to-day management of staff members. Organizes and operates materials distribution, receiving, storing, and related functions and systems effectively. Directs operational functions of the facility's supply chain in partnership with other supply chain leaders.
Partners with hospital clinicians and staff to ensure customer needs are met by the supply chain. Establishes and maintains adequate levels of standard and emergency supplies to meet patient care demands. Maintains environment and operations within regulatory guidelines.
Establishes and maintains par levels on unit cart lists. Reviews Peoplesoft dashboards and reports, taking appropriate actions. Communicates with Shared Services to identify and resolve issues.
Assists in coordinating and cross-training department personnel engaged in stocking supply carts, filling stock requisitions, and tagging patient chargeable supplies. Ensures all departments have sufficient supplies. Other duties as assigned.
