This is a full-time, varied shift position with a varied schedule located at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla.

Our specialties have been nationally recognized for quality in areas such as cardiovascular care, oncology, orthopedics, geriatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, and gastroenterology. The Supply Tech is responsible for maintaining par supply areas such as: ordering, stocking, replenishing, and delivering supplies to all areas of the hospital or clinic. Responsible for managing storeroom supplies, performing periodic cycle counting.
The Supply Tech will be able to utilize inventory management systems and hand held devices according to policy and procedures. Responsible for checking for outdates, recall of product throughout the hospital and clinic. Must maintain a clean and organized supply area (s).
Required Experience/Specialized
2-3 Years supply experience, knowledge of medical supplies preferred. Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English. Excellent computer skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills. Required Education/Course(s)/Training: High School Graduate, must be able to utilize computer systems, inventory management tools and systems, and hand held devices. The supply tech will need to pass initial 90 day competency and yearly competency as it relates to the position.
