Qualifications
✓4-6 years clerical or administrative experience required.
✓Ability to organize work day in order to manage multiple, simultaneous projects.
✓Demonstrates a willingness to learn new techniques, methods and participate in a new program and other system changes.
✓Knowledge of inventory practices with the ability to maintain adequate levels of supplies.
✓Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as good interpersonal human relation skills.
✓Able to troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment and notify appropriate repair contact.
✓Intermediate knowledge of databases sufficient to be able to research, analyze and report.
✓Skill in filling out forms and completing paperwork relative to the work assignment.
✓Ability to create, store, edit, format, print, and revise tables, reports, forms, labels, and other printed material using the available software.
✓Recognizes, initiates and leads improvement efforts through initiative, judgment, tact, and discretion.

About the role

Pediatrics is a 20-bed unit that provides compassionate care for common illnesses including urinary tract infections, respiratory problems, dehydration, ingestions, abdominal pain, appendicitis and gallbladder disease. In addition, we offer subspecialty care in pediatric neurology and seizure treatment, pediatric infectious disease and pediatric cardiology.
