PRN How you’ll make an impact in this role Prepare the operating suite by meticulously organizing sterile and non-sterile instruments, ensuring a seamless and efficient start for every surgical procedure. Support surgical precision by anticipating the surgeonâs needs and providing required instrumentation, directly enabling a fluid and successful procedural flow. Ensure patient safety and dignity by skillfully assisting with transport, positioning, and sterile draping to create a secure, comfortable environment.
Uphold rigorous safety standards by tracking instrument counts throughout the case, actively preventing complications and maintaining complete surgical integrity. Collaborate with the surgical team during critical procedural phases, such as assisting with hemostasis and wound closure, to contribute to positive patient outcomes. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
