Job Summary and Qualifications The Pre-op Screening Specialist participates in high quality, patient-centered care by engaging in individualized and compassionate communications with operative patients. Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Pre-op Screening Specialist ensures that the patients are prepared and cleared for surgery via collection of patient information, completion of patient’s medical history, and assembling of the clinical record.

The Pre-op Screening Specialist serves as an advocate for patients/families & caregivers and models a commitment to the organization’s Mission/Vision/Values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to the overall facility performance. Ambulatory Surgery Center located in Tampa, Florida. We offer orthopedic, ophthalmology, GI, urology, podiatry, plastics and pain management services to the residents of Hillsborough and Pasco counties. We see over 500 cases a month.
