You’ll need
Certifications
✓Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification as required by facility policy
Education
✓High school diploma or equivalent required
Completion of a Central Service Technician course or equivalent training preferred
Qualifications
✓Knowledge of aseptic techniques, sterile processing, and infection control principles
✓Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
✓Ability to work effectively in a high-stress, fast-paced surgical environment
✓Proficient in basic computer operations and EMR systems
✓Ability to lift and transport surgical equipment and assist with patient transfers
✓Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with staff and patients
✓Demonstrates professionalism, dependability, and a commitment to patient safety
Six (6) months of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in Surgery or Sterile Processing preferred
