Surgical Positions Certified Surgical Instrument Tech Surgical Technologist/LPN Certified Surgical Technologist
Surgical Responsibilities Performs procedures and exams within scope of practice, following department protocols. Prepares patients, equipment, and procedure areas, and maintains a clean, safe environment. Ensures quality and accuracy of images, procedures, or processed instruments.
Follows safety, infection prevention, and radiation safety guidelines as applicable. Communicates with providers, nurses, and team members to keep procedures on schedule. Documents procedures accurately and on time.
Adheres to regulatory agency requirements, survey process and compliance. Complies with established organization and department policies. Available to work overtime in addition to working additional or other shifts and schedules when required.
Required Qualifications Education and Experience Surgical: Completion of an accredited program in the applicable field. Registry or certification required or eligible as applicable by department. Experience requirements vary by position.
