On-call | Primarily call coverage for GI | call starts at 1430 and ends at 0630 M-F and is 24 hours a day on Saturday and Sunday How you’ll make an impact in this role Advocate for and safeguard the total well-being of the patient by expertly managing their comprehensive care as the circulating nurse, spanning pre-op preparation through post-procedure stabilization and documentation. Execute and maintain a precise, sterile surgical field by selecting, organizing, and managing all instrumentation and supplies to ensure a seamless and efficient procedural flow.
Collaborate with the operating surgeon to drive optimal surgical outcomes by directly assisting with critical tasks such as wound exposure, hemostasis, and suturing. Monitor and anticipate team needs and patient physiological changes, proactively communicating and rapidly intervening to sustain optimal procedure progression and patient safety. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Additional Preferences: Must be a graduate of accredited Surgical Technologist program. Prior experience preferred.
