What you’ll do
Performing advanced knowledge andPerforming advanced knowledge and proficient practice in the scrub role for most surgical procedures
Conducting pre-operative duties, includingConducting pre-operative duties, including performing a surgical scrub, donning OR attire, and acquiring personal protective equipment (PPE)
Getting the operating roomGetting the operating room and sterile field ready for surgical procedures by applying sterile technique
Setting up the sterileSetting up the sterile back table and Mayo stand with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medication/solutions needed for the procedure
Helping team members putHelping team members put on gowns and gloves, as well as aiding with draping the patient and setting up the sterile field
