✓Maintains current BLS certification.
✓Current certification as a CST, orCurrent NCCT-TC (tech in surgery) certification (for applicants with past military experience only
✓Successful completion of the Community College of Rhode Island's certificate surgical technologist program
✓Current BLS Certification is required upon hire Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients throughout the life span with consideration of aging processes, human development stages and cultural patterns in each step of the care process.

✓Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program, or
✓Graduate of a surgical technologist associate degree program, or
✓Successful completion of a Brown University Health on-the-job surgical technologist training program
