✓Surgical Technician certification through an accredited program or within 12 months of completing program.
✓Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

✓High school diploma or equivalent.
✓OR Successfully completed a training program for surgical technology in the military
✓OR Graduated from an accredited Surgical Tech Program..
Qualifications
✓Before July 1, 2013, employed as a surgical technologist in a surgical facility
✓Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
✓Ability to work with detailed, confidential material and information.
✓Computer experience.
✓Ability to follow directions and work with precision under pressure.
✓Maintains sensitivity, maturity and flexibility in coping with difficult situations.
✓Demonstrates knowledge of operative procedures, equipment and routine.
Two (2) years of Operating Room Experience. preferred
