Eligible for up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus Baptist Health is looking for a Surgical Technologist with at least 2 years of experience to join our Flex Team. As a member of the Flex Team, you will have the opportunity to work Full-time, offering a flexible schedule to accommodate your lifestyle. A full-time candidate is required to work three shifts per week, weekends included for both.
All shifts are 10-hour shifts and there is no on-call required. A Surgical Technologist in this position will float between campuses including the Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville campus operating room. As a Surgical Technologist, your responsibilities will include: Assembling, organizing, and maintaining a sterile field for operative procedures. Anticipating the needs of the surgeon and the progression of the case and preparing accordingly. Proper disposition of specimens and instruments.
Working with the entire surgical team to minimize anesthesia time and to promote patient safety. Education & Credential
