Anticipates and responds effectively by performing assignments in a timely and efficient manner with no more than 2 documented corrective incidents annually. Proper sterile techniques are followed and maintains a sterile field at all times with no more than 2 documented corrective incidents annually.

Assistance is provided to the circulating RN with procedure/patient preparation with no more than 2 documented corrective incidents annually. A working knowledge of autoclaves is followed and proper sterilization method for instruments selected at all times with no more than 2 documented corrective incidents annually. A proper procedure counting of instruments, sponges and sharps is followed with no more than 2 documented corrective incidents annually.

Instrumentation is accurately checked prior to procedure for proper functionality and maintained throughout procedure with no more than 2 documented corrective incidents annually.
