Licensure
✓Current license or permit to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas if the individual is a BSN/MSN.
Education
✓Master’s Degree in business administration, nursing or public administration. 2.
Qualifications
✓1. 3-5 or more years of progressive management experience in an acute care setting preferably, but not required, to include oversight of an Emergency Department or FED. 2.
✓Must be detail oriented and able to focus on nuances of multi-site operations. 3.
✓Demonstrated working knowledge of nursing clinical practices and management within an FED, hospital, or outpatient setting based on evidenced-based practice guidelines. 4.
✓Extensive knowledge of principles and practices relevant to nursing and patient care activities. 5.
✓Demonstrated knowledge of effective management and supervisory practices.
✓Highly developed written and verbal communication skills. 6.
✓Effective communication skills with diverse groups, including physicians, managers, and employees is required. 7.
