Certifications
✓Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) required upon hire.
✓Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS) or Surgical Instrument Specialist Certification (CSIS) required or must be obtained within two (2) years of employment.
✓Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) or Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor.
✓GI Scope Certification (CFER) required or must be obtained within two (2) years of employment.
Education
✓High School Diploma or GED
Qualifications
✓Five years of related experience. Requires broad knowledge of complex systems and procedures.
✓Five (5) Years of work experience in sterile processing, high-level disinfection, and or in an operating room (required)
✓Communication Skills: Exceptional Verbal (Public Speaking), Writing Correspondence, Writing Reports
✓Proficiencies: MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Outlook, P.C.
