Certifications
✓Must be 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma, and meet one of the following options: A minimum of 9 early childhood credits, or related field, including at least one 3 credit course in child growth and development, from a regionally accredited college OR Child D
✓First Aid and CPR certification preferred or must obtain within 90 days of hire.
✓Hold a Professional Credential or apply for a credential to the NH Child Development Bureau within 6 months of date of hire.
Qualifications
✓Knowledge of Developmentally Appropriate Practice.
✓Knowledge of NH Child Care Program Licensing Rules.
✓Ability to communicate effectively and establish a cooperative, collaborative working environment.
✓Ability to facilitate communication between and among others.
✓Ability to demonstrate courtesy, compassion and respect in relating to children, families, visitors, and coworkers.
✓Ability to accept constructive feedback and initiate appropriate actions to correct situations.
✓Ability to perform all activities outlined in the Orientation Guidelines.
