You’ll need
Certifications
✓Current California Child Development Permit, Teacher Level Current First Aid and CPR Certifications 2 years working in a licensed center-based child care facilities
Education
✓Ability to work effectively as a member of a child development team, with children, parents, staff members, and community representatives in providing a quality educational program.
✓Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education, or an equivalent combination of education and experience working with children.

Qualifications
✓Ability to relate to children as individuals in small and large groups.
✓Effective communication skills, both with children and adults.
✓Thorough understanding of child development and the philosophy and methodology of early childhood education center, as well as changes taking place in the field.
✓Ability to work with and be sensitive to a culturally diverse community.
✓Ability to plan, organize and direct a challenging developmental and instructional program for school aged children.
✓Familiarity with federal and state health safety regulations and Title 22 and Title 5 regulations, applicable to a child care facility.
✓As a condition of employment, the final candidate who accepts a conditional offer of employment will be required to disclose if they have been subject to any final administrative or judicial decisions within the last seven years determining that they committed any misconduct
✓received notice of any allegations or are currently the subject of any administrative or disciplinary proceedings involving misconduct
✓have left a position after receiving notice of allegations or while under investigation in an administrative or disciplinary proceeding involving misconduct
