Under general supervision, demonstrates proficiency in administering the fundamentals of the nursing process, contributes to the nursing assessment and the development of the nursing care plan, and participates in the evaluation of nursing care, in accordance with established philosophy.
Excellent customer service skills. Self-directing, able to work with little direct supervision. Empathy for the needs of patients.
Treats patients and others with courtesy and respect, presenting a positive public image. Works well as a team member. Ensures confidentiality and security of patients' medical information.
Will be held accountable to the following studer philosophies and principles: HCAPS Patient Perception Hourly Rounding with intention Bedside Shift Report AIDET Daily Huddles Minimum
Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing. Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred. Required Licenses Must hold current license by the state of Kentucky or hold license in a compact state as a Registered Nurse.
BLS certification - American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) or American Red Cross (Healthcare Provider) required, must be current. ACLS preferred. Minimum Work Experience One year experience in Nursing/Surgery preferred.
