- Assists with patient care based on individual patient needs within the scope of practice under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse. Meets the communication needs of the patient/family, departmental staff and medical staff. Prepares and compiles records on the nursing unit. Initiates directions from physicians and nursing staff.
