Licensure
✓Certification by the Indiana State Department of Health (Diagnostic X-Ray Machine Operator)
Certifications
✓Registration with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) or ARRT-eligible (including compliance with CE requirements)
✓Advanced Registry by the ARRT in MRI
Education
✓Completion of a formal Radiology technical training program approved by the A.M.A.
Qualifications
✓Knowledge of magnetic fields (e.g., safety factors relative to metallic objects within patients and within the magnetic field; safety issues concerning patients and staff)
✓Excellent command of radiologic anatomy, cross-sectional anatomy, and basic radiologic/MRI physics
✓Flexible work schedule to meet departmental demands
✓Ability to take on-call hours and respond to callbacks within the specified time
Prefer 1 year experience as a staff radiologic technologist preferred
